NCPlenty, Inc. is a non-profit corporation working to promote local commerce, fair wages, environmental responsibility, self-reliance, and neighborliness through the implementation and support of a local currency, the PLENTY. Our geographic area of focus is Orange and Durham counties, as well as portions of Alamance and Chatham counties, in the state of North Carolina.

The Organic Exchange is a non-profit business organization focused on facilitating the growth of a global organic cotton industry.  Our goal is simple: to make organic cotton 10% of the world’s cotton demand and supply within the next 10 years.

Organic Cotton Trade Association

The Organic Trade Association (OTA) is a membership based business association representing the organic industry in Canada, the United States and Mexico.  Members include growers, shippers, processors, certifiers, farmer associations, brokers, manufacturers, consultants, distributors and retailers.  Established in 1985 as the Organic Foods Production Association of North America, the Organic Trade Association works to promote organic products in the marketplace and to protect the integrity of organic standards.

Sustainable North Carolina works for economic and environmental sustainability in North Carolina. We bring together business people, government officials, civic leaders and conservationists to find new ways to solve complex environmental problems. 

The leading trade association for the screenprint industry, servicing over 3,000 companies world wide.  Eric Henry was 2002 Chairperson and currently serves on the board of directors.
