REHANCE Technology versus Plastisol Ink
The textile industry has for many years been dominated by plastisol inks.  Below is a comparison of the two methods of dyeing viewed at a magnification of 7X.

With REHANCE technology the actual cotton fiber is changed at the molecular level, allowing the fabric to remain breathable after printing.

In order to obtain colors with plastisol inks, the cotton surface has to be sealed, which causes a non-breathable area.  Notice the red area, where the fibers have been sealed to achieve the red on top of the blue fabric.

As plastisol prints are washed, the plastisizers that let the ink stretch start to leech out, which makes the film surface brittle and begin to crack.
