REHANCE Advantages

A Winning Opportunity for You and the Environment!

Discover how REHANCE can enable you to:

Extend the life of your brand

If you’re using plastisol printing on your tees, its only a matter of a few washes before your promotional item becomes part of the weekend yard routine or worse yet, the local landfill, rather than doing what you want it to do—being worn by your customers, promoting your brand.  Most screenprinting methods utilize plastisol ink which not only contain harmful PVC, but leave a “hand print”, a visible crusty coating that feels unnatural.

REHANCE gives your brand an extended life, increased promotion opportunities, and a product integrated with your environmental values!

Give your brand lasting value, Get REHANCE!

Be more responsive to your market

What if your marketing concepts and designs could be in your customers’ hands in a couple of weeks

REHANCE has turned the apparel supply chain on its head!  While imports from third world countries continue to grow in demand from many apparel manufactures, their lower, upfront costs have significant time-to-market disadvantages as well as final higher costs when products do not sell.  A typical apparel production timeline is 12 to 15 weeks minimum.

With REHANCE, we’ve reinvented how apparel is produced, giving you opportunities to market your products faster and be more responsive to your customers.  The REHANCE process can be accomplished in as little as 2 weeks.

Pink didn’t turn out to be the “hot” color we thought it would be…

REHANCE ensures you can minimize your inventory exposure and meet market demand for specific styles, colors, and textures with minimal lead-time. Working with your market plans and our manufacturing partners, we ensure a sufficient quantity of “blanks” or naturally dyed cotton shirts are ready and available.  You select the design, which is imprinted using REHANCE technology and then the garment is dyed to specific colors.

Garment dyeing finished apparel products has many advantages over typical pieced dyed goods, which is how most apparel is produced. By garment dyeing, an apparel product is pre-stressed to eliminate the holes or open seams that can appear after a piece-dyed product is taken home by the consumer and washed.   Although some apparel manufacturers have experienced difficulty in achieving high quality products with garment dyeing, we have had much success because of our quality control processes and operational techniques. We certify all of the REHANCE garment dyers and the fabric that is used in a REHANCE apparel product. With certification, we can assure color consistency and fastness that would be obtained in piece dyed fabric.

You can easily “test” your retail placements with particular colors and styles and if sales aren’t meeting expectations, or your sales in particular colors exceed your expectations, you can easily modify your remaining inventory to quickly replenish your stores or channel stores’ shelves!

Make a positive impact on the environment

If you’re a responsible corporate citizen, you probably already have a number of environmental or “green” initiatives in place.  You may even be choosing or incorporating organic cotton into your production and marketing efforts, thus doing your best to be environmentally responsible.  If however, you are still using plastisol ink in your logos and screenprinted images, you’re overlooking a key area to be further responsible to your environment.

REHANCE offers you a unique opportunity to promote your products while integrating your brand values.  It pays to show your customers your commitment to the environment—not only will you prevent a few less dioxins from being produced, you’ll give your promotion projects longer life!

Be more socially responsible

When you buy a REHANCE product, you can be assured of a product that is socially responsible.  At T. S. Designs, we take seriously our commitment to sustainability, both to the environment, community, and people we employ. We are committed to fair trade with all the people, companies and suppliers we work or associate with to provide fair wages and good employment opportunities.  We believe in treating people with respect and honor our employees’ and manufacturing partners’ creative and active participation in our decisions.  We believe in providing a high quality life for all of our employees; to that end, we:

  • Provide a healthful, enjoyable, and safe workplace

  • Pay a livable wage with good benefits

  • Provide training in a variety of areas:  operational, sustainability practices, and personal development, just to name a few

  • Provide an open forum for discussion for every employee

Furthermore, we do not use fair trade as an excuse to produce poorer or more expensive products just because of being "Fair Trade." We understand the importance of providing jobs and opportunities both in our local community and also in the global marketplace.

What REHANCE offers that plastisol does not:

  • A print that does not contain PVC, phthalates, or solvents (base technology).

  • A print that is completely breathable and does not have any “hand.”

  • A print that will not crack or peel over time, REHANCE is not a surface coating but actually changes the cotton molecular structure in how it responds to dyes.

  • A print that will not significantly change after multiple home launderings.

  • A garment that will not shrink, REHANCE products are garment dyed which eliminateshrinkage.  Most plastisol screen printing is done in a piece dyed environment and the customer can expect between a 5 to 10% shrinkage when the product is washed at home.

  • A print that will work on fabrics with stretch and / or textures.

  • A perfect color tone on tone match.

The Bigger Picture:

With REHANCE we control the entire manufacturing procedures and chemicals from start to finish, i.e. from fabric finishing to the fabric softener used in the final process of garment dyeing making it easier to measure and control the total environmental impact of the process.

With garment dyeing compared to piece dyeing, color selection is one of the last choices so this allows the customer to offer the client more color options without committing to extra inventory.  Keep in mind we can maintain the same color consistency from dye lot to dye lot.
